Since 1988, Kimbrough & Associés has advised clients on international arbitration, intellectual property and business law. If this practice appeals to you, we will read your application with care.

We read every application with care, without a preset checklist. There is no typical career path here. Degrees from France and abroad, straightforward or less conventional paths interest us equally. What we look for above all is a way of thinking: rigorous analysis, intellectual curiosity and the ability to explain clearly why you want to work with us.

Our clients are French and international, and our matters are handled in both French and English. Genuine fluency in legal English is therefore essential. Translating is not enough: you must be able to reason, draft and persuade in each language. We also value a desire to learn, the mental agility to move from one issue to another without losing precision, and a taste for teamwork, which we regard as a condition of the quality of our work.

From your first day, you work directly with our attorneys on demanding international matters. You are involved at every stage, from legal research to developing strategy and drafting submissions. These matters expose you to different fields, sectors and legal traditions. You learn to compare systems, to grasp what separates civil law reasoning from common law reasoning, and to build arguments that hold up before audiences from varied backgrounds. Your autonomy grows with each matter, with attentive supervision and responsibilities that keep pace with your progress.
